Medicare

The current Medicare rebate for clinical psychology is $141.85 per session.

Online: $220 - $141.85 = $78.15 per session

In-person: $240 - $141.85 = $98.15 per session

Please note: A valid referral letter from a GP or Psychiatrist is required to access Medicare rebates (for up to 10 sessions per calendar year, with subsequent referrals). Valid at the time of writing - subject to change.

Simply present a copy of your valid GP referral letter to your clinician at your first appointment and rebates will be processed for you after every session.

Private Health Insurance

You may also be able to claim rebates through your Private Health Insurance.

Please note:

• Medicare does not allow dual claiming; You must choose either Medicare or Private Health Insurance for each session.

• It is advised that you check with your Private Health Insurer first to make sure you are eligible.

• The practice will provide you with a paid invoice for lodging the claim with your insurer following your session.
